Peak's youth leadership basketball program, Project AID (All-Inclusive Development System) consists of youth at-risk to influence of negative environments that incites violence, drug activities, a lack of motivation, youth who are subjected to social, emotional and mental health needs which causes performance issues within their day-to-day activities. Your contribution goes towards healthy living through physical fitness, leadership coaching, clinical therapy, academic support, leadership curriculum, and so on.

One particular kid comes to mind when reflecting on our program. He's a 13 year old that's negatively impacted by his environment. In the past year he has been sent to an alternative school due to anger and behavioral issues, eventually leading to being kicked out of his school district indefinitely. Our mentor coaches monitoring his social media, saw the negative habits he picked up such as using drugs, guns and so on. Thank goodness the coaches monitor our boys to see how they are doing. We immediately intervened, increasing the amount of time we spend with him, reinforcing our principles of leadership and keeping him in an environment with positive role models while holding him accountable for being responsible.

This is one out of many youth we help yearly and continue to see progress such as last year's class moving on to college whether as a collegiate athlete or a regular student. This is why we appreciate your support of our program.
