Our Philosophy

We are a collection of elite visionaries who dominate life’s journey. At Peak Vision Elite Sports “PVE”, our faith gives us the ability to see, be and bring our Peak “a future reality in the now” to life. Through our daily, weekly and monthly habits, we demonstrate the discipline and consistency to transform us into our peak.

Our AID system challenges PVE’s conglomerate of visionaries to walk in confidence, uphold strong values and principles, critically think while being relentless and exercising resiliency. The challenges come by way of a series of basketball IQ, athletic, skill and team building training that allows each visionary to exercise superior leadership. - Be the Peak

OUR MISSION

Create a world class development system that challenges one million youth basketball athletes in North America to be their Peak. This is by way of leading themselves and leading others through clarity of vision, emotional intelligence, disciplined habits, critical thinking, resiliency and effective communication. Our visionaries will achieve their goals of a collegiate athletic opportunity, non-athletic collegiate student opportunities, and/or further post secondary studies.

Coaches Philosophy

Why We Coach

  • We love potential and the quest of bringing it to reality

  • We’re passionate about grooming, developing and nurturing people's abilities

  • We’re driven with desire to take something small and transform it into something great

  • We love basketball and we love investing time into the youth

  • Most Importantly, it unleashes a greater version of ourselves

  • We lead, develop and mentor young men to assist in bringing out the greatest versions of themselves spiritually and physically. We’re passionate about basketball, and use it as a means to walk visionary athletes (players) through their journey and see them BE THE PEAK.

Coaches Culture

Who We Are:

  • We’re people of faith and believers in God our Father

  • We’re Visionaries that lead people through the potential of what we see

  • We’re leaders within our families, communities and forever learners

  • We’re developers and mentors

  • Basketball Players

What We Do:

  • We cultivate youth’s potential through the power of faith (Vision and Action) and provide the tools needed to excel in every aspect of life. Basketball is used as a means to empower kids to skillfully overcome obstacles and own their journey head on.

Mentality - Faith Based, Goal oriented, vision driven, learner, genuine, passionate and dedicated to the process

Environment - family oriented F.U.N., unity centric (oneness), peaceful, joyful, educational and intense work ethic, but energetic atmosphere

Values - Accountability, trust, integrity, communication, competitiveness, respect and creative thinking

Coaching Style

Peak Mentor Coaches lead primarily from a Holistic Coaching Perspective. We have created an ecosystem to develop youth spiritually, psychologically, socially, and physically.

Holistic Coaching - Embrace the whole person, recognizing that every athlete is a human first and a player second, and prioritizes growth accordingly.

  • On the surface, this may seem poorly suited to achieving optimal athletic performance, but in coaching the person rather than the athlete, a coach can affect players’ entire lives for the better. Recognizing that each player may have commitments to school, family, work, and other pursuits, a coach who cares can have a far-reaching, positive influence on the lives of players.” Source: Maryville University Article “Coaching Styles”

Player/ Coach Interactions:

  • Relationship building - Developing one on one relationships with every visionary athlete (players) is imperative. It's done through spending time with them on and off the court.

  • Open Dialogue - Give players freedom to voice their thoughts and encourage player creativity. This also develops trust and value between players and coaches.

  • Freedom to voice - players give input on game strategies and practice routines, though the coach makes the final decisions

  • Encouragement of creativity - Because players know their opinions will be heard, it encourages them to find new or different solutions to problems.

Process of Development

Adversity -

  • Growth through failure - Lessons to adapt for next time comes by growth in strategic failure. Also, if an athlete offers an idea that fails, it serves as an experience for both coach and players to grow together.

  • Growth through consistency (Never Quitting) - Consistency begins with intention. It requires discipline, commitment, and self-awareness. By prioritizing consistency, we lay a solid foundation for our personal and professional growth. It enables us to develop healthy habits, nurture our well-being, and effectively navigate the challenges that life throws our way. (LinkedIn Article by Xavier Nazareth)

  • Growth through Overcoming - Embrace challenges because the testing of your faith induces patiences and when patiences works through you it perfects the vision that’s inside of you. James 1:2-4 By employing strategies such as resilience, a positive mindset, adaptability, and self-compassion, individuals can not only overcome obstacles but also emerge from them stronger and wiser.
